LNG Cluster · Competence & technical assurance

Professional certifications with a defined technical scope.

Build and demonstrate LNG knowledge through a structured learning and assessment pathway. Understand the skills covered, evidence required and the distinction between training completion and a certified professional credential.

Existing LMS offerings, prices and entitlements remain as published; the proposed independent credential scheme is under validation.

Flagship credential

Certified LNG Professional (CLP)

Designed for LNG operators, technicians, engineers, coordinators and professionals across the natural gas and LNG value chain. The proposed competency framework addresses the knowledge required to understand major process interfaces and risk controls; it does not replace employer qualification, site-specific authorization or government licensing.

For individuals

Document relevant LNG competence and identify development priorities for technical career progression.

For employers

Evaluate an additional, defined competency signal when reviewing learning and development needs—not a substitute for job-specific competence verification.

For training buyers

Distinguish training seats, examination eligibility, instructor provision, certificate issuance and cohort deliverables in each contract.

What the proposed CLP assessment covers

These draft weights define a candidate scheme—not a claim that every existing CLP enrollment already contains this examination.

Private credential. Holder-controlled disclosure.

Credentials and detailed assessment results belong in the individual's private account. LNG Cluster does not publish the holder's name, examination performance or certification record by default. Any hosted share or verification capability requires separate authorization.

Payment and course completion alone do not guarantee certification. Employer acceptance and external accreditation must not be inferred.
